What To Expect

The work done in therapy is done as a partnership, an alliance. The nature of counseling often feels different from the rest of life; because, counseling always involves a safe space, created to be objective, confidential, and stable so that clients may work through life’s challenges without distractions. The work of counseling may take several different contexts. Individual counseling puts clients one-on-one with a counselor, group therapy gathers several clients together with a counselor, couple’s therapy and family counseling will place multiple people and relatives in various scenarios with a counselor. All ages can benefit from professional help.
