Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Licensed School Psychologist – Let me help you make sense of your life. If you’re dealing with stress, struggling with fears, or facing depression, my hope is to provide a safe place to talk, support for difficult struggles, help in sorting out distorted thinking, and accepting what you cannot change.
My mission is to offer a “no judgment zone,” a place where difficult problems can be discussed in a positive spiritual environment, where there is acceptance and possibility for the future. Let me help you deal with life’s difficulties.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a background as a Licensed School Psychologist, I provide counseling and psychotherapy for people facing challenges, including emotional struggles and life decisions. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy regarding anxiety, depression, life crises, grief and loss. The Gottman Method is implemented for marriage and premarital counseling. I have a unique background in assessing for emotional issues, executive functioning problems, ADHD, Autism, and clergy assessments. My educational background consists of Master’s and Specialist degrees from SIUE, and I studied Counseling at Lindenwood University. While earning these degrees, I was awarded the Competitive Graduate Award, which is an academic scholarship, and I qualified for both the Psi Chi and Phi Theta Kappa honors fraternities. I have attended over 80 continuing education seminars to strengthen my knowledge of psychology and bolster my ability to address counseling issues. My desire is to continually upgrade my skills so that I may help others to reach their best potential in life.
